Patterned Colouring via Variable-Speed Single Stretching
نویسندگان
چکیده
We demonstrate a cost-effective, highly reliable/stable and environmentally friendly approach for the patterned colouring of commercial transparent polyethylene terephthalate (PET). show that different colour patterns (transparent, white/translucent, complete white/silver combinations these three colours) can be realised in PET strips upon varying speed during continuous stretching. The conditions good quality are investigated, length transient region change is investigated.

User-guided Variable-rate Time-stretching via Stiffness Control
User control over variable-rate time-stretching typically requires direct, manual adjustment of the time-dependent stretch rate. For time-stretching with transient preservation, rhythmic warping, rhythmic emphasis modification, or other effects that require additional timing constraints, however, direct manipulation is difficult. For a more user-friendly approach, we present work that allows a ...
متن کاملNonrepetitive Colouring via Entropy Compression
A vertex colouring of a graph is nonrepetitive if there is no path whose first half receives the same sequence of colours as the second half. A graph is nonrepetitively l-choosable if given lists of at least l colours at each vertex, there is a nonrepetitive colouring such that each vertex is coloured from its own list. It is known that, for some constant c, every graph with maximum degree ∆ is...
متن کاملSolving 3-Colouring via 2SAT
The 3-Colouring of a graph is a classic NP-complete problem. We show that some solutions for the 3-Colouring can be built in polynomial time based on the number of basic cycles existing in the graph. For this, we design a reduction from proper 3-Colouring of a graph G to a 2-CF Boolean formula FG, where the number of clauses in FG depends on the number of basic cycles in G. Any model of FG prov...
متن کاملLearning multiple variable-speed sequences in striatum via cortical tutoring
Sparse, sequential patterns of neural activity have been observed in numerous brain areas during timekeeping and motor sequence tasks. Inspired by such observations, we construct a model of the striatum, an all-inhibitory circuit where sequential activity patterns are prominent, addressing the following key challenges: (i) obtaining control over temporal rescaling of the sequence speed, with th...
متن کاملScheduling on a Single Processor with Variable Speed
Alidaee and Ahmadian considered a single machine scheduling problem with varying processing times, and presented a polynomial algorithm that minimizes the sum of absolute deviations of jobs’ completion times from a common due date. In this short note we remark that it is possible to eliminate one of the algorithm steps, therefore obtaining a more efficient procedure. We also show that the appro...
